Power generation and inductive charging with solar roads
Solmove technology is based on proven photovoltaics combined with an innovative, stable glass surface that can be glued on horizontal surfaces. Our modules are no-slippery, break-resistant and have a special structure that optimally directs sunlight on the underlying solar cells. The profile is self-cleaning and designed in a way that rainwater can drain well. The modules can easily and quickly be installed with a plug-in system.
The best part-they produce clean electricity on huge surfaces.
Where to use it?
Solmove is breaking new ground with two products for streets and pavements
VOLTSTREET™
- VOLTSTREET ™ is Solmoves main product and can be laid on roads or other large areas. The square shaped modules are 1,2 x 1,2 meter in size, are linked to each other by corner connectors and can be connected to the main power grid or to users directly.
SOLWALK
- SOLWALK is a solar walkway plate, 60 x 60 cm large, that can be laid on sidewalks and pavements, bike paths and squares, it is driveable and optionally includes lighting. SOLWALK will be available from 2018 onwards.
What about safety?
- Driving on the surface is absolutely safe and permanently possible.
- Thanks to the special surface structure and material composition our modules have excellent grip and breaking strength
- Discharge of surface water is better than on conventional road surfaces
- The optimized glass surface reduces driving noise
- DC voltage is limited to 30 volts
